Carcassonne Airport serves the Carcassonne City and towns like Pennautier, Villemoustaussou, Pezens, Ventenac-Cabardès, Montréal, Cazilhac, Caux-et-Sauzens and Alzonne. In France, an advance reservation is required for TGV trains. Passengers can also purchase tickets for the majority of the trains on the day of their travel. For Paris, the Corail Lunéa couchette train, which travels overnight, is also available to the passengers.
